St. Elizabeth Ann Seton |

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

St. Vincent de Paul |
|
In
1975, Elizabeth Seton was declared the first native born American
Saint of the Catholic Church. A widow with five children who had converted
to Catholicism, she gained prominence as an educator and church leader.
Inspired by the work of St. Vincent de Paul, she founded a religious
community, the Sisters of Charity, in 1809.
Elizabeth Seton worked
on behalf of the poor, the sick and the deprived throughout her
life. Faithful to her spirit, the Sisters of Charity work today
to better the lives of those in need through caring and cooperative
partnership.

our employees to reflect the Elizabeth Seton Mission in the

All of our endeavors
are focused on meeting the spiritual, physical, psychological,
emotional and cultural needs of our residents and to reaching
out to their family and friends as well. We provide an atmosphere
of friendliness and concern, allowing for frequent contact
with relatives and friends, and for participation in recreational
activities and community affairs.
