Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team!

Primary Duties include:

  • Provide Physical Therapy Services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in the evaluation process as directed
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in identifying a problem list, short-term goals, long-term goals and treatment plan
  • Conduct individual, supervised and group treatment as assigned by the Physical Therapist and as outlined in the treatment plan
  • Monitor resident’s response to intervention and consults with Physical Therapist if modification is indicated
  • Adhere to department and resident schedule and modifies as appropriate for treatment regimen
  • Maintain facility productivity treatment standard
  • Provide/recommend/fabricate adaptive devices or other equipment; trains resident and caregiver in the use or application of orthotics and prosthetics
  • Participate in resident, family and staff education as needed

Must have current MA PTA license in good standing. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal is required. Prior experience in skilled nursing is a plus. Hours are 10-6 Tuesday thru Saturday.

Part Time Nurse

We are seeking two part time nurses for our subacute floor. This position requires a highly motivated and energetic individual preferably with experience in working with seniors. The right candidate will have passion for human kindness and wellness for life.

Job Functions include:

  • Directing the functions of the nursing assistants.
  • Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures of the facility.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Chart all reports of accident/incidents involving residents. Follow established procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Review residents charts for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards.

Must have current Massachusetts RN or LPN license, in good standing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred. Hours are 7-3 every other weekend, or 7-3 every Sunday and Monday.

Infection Preventionist Nurse

We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse who is certified in Infection Prevention and Control to join our team, working 24 hours per week. Primary job function is to ensure we are doing all we can to prevent infections in the facility and will also develop, review, and update protocols and procedures for infection control and prevention.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have an active MA RN license in good standing; must be certified in Infection Prevention and Control and prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility.

Part Time Activities Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic, caring and compassionate person to join our Activities staff in a part-time capacity.  The primary responsibility is to work with team members and provide meaningful one-on-one and group engagements with our residents. Excellent communication and organizational skills along with flexibility are required. Prior experience working in Activities department within long term care is preferred.

This is a part time position, working 8 hours per week. Flexibility to work additional days as needed (to cover vacations and other busier times in our facility) is preferred.

Weekend Receptionist

We are seeking a part time receptionist. Primary duties include:

  • Greeting visitors immediately upon arrival
  • Professionally handles all phone calls and routes callers or answers questions in a timely and courteous manner
  • Greets all residents, associates, and visitors with a warm smile and pleasant tone of voice
  • Covid Screening Procedures – temperature taking, asking pre-screening questions for everyone entering the building and maintaining the log book with this information

Hours are 2:30-8pm Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend.

Must have excellent communication and customer service skills; must be organized, able to multitask and work well independently. Prior experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting/senior living facility is preferred. Ability to work other shifts during the week for vacation/sick day coverage is a plus.

Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a few additional staff to join our Environmental Services Department!

We are looking for two Housekeepers. Primary duties include cleaning residents rooms and common areas, vacuuming and mopping floors, and trash removal. Part time position available with hours Monday thru Friday 3pm-7pm (20 hours per week). Full time position hours are 7am-3pm, every other weekend (40 hours per week).

We are also seeking a full time Laundry Attendant. Hours are 7am-3pm, every other weekend (40 hours per week).

Prior experience in health care facility is preferred.
