Charge Nurse – Sign On Bonus $2000 for FT

We are seeking nurses to join our team in a part time, full time or per diem capacity. Various shifts and schedules are available. This position requires a highly motivated and energetic individual preferably with experience in working with seniors. The right candidate will have passion for human kindness and wellness for life.

Job Functions include:

  • Directing the functions of the nursing assistants.
  • Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures of the facility.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Chart all reports of accident/incidents involving residents. Follow established procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
  • Review residents charts for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc as necessary.
  • Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards.

Must have current Massachusetts RN or LPN license, in good standing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred, but compassionate nurses with enthusiasm for geriatrics will be considered. Must be fully COVID vaccinated (per DPH requirements).

Infection Preventionist/Nursing Supervisor (36 hours/week)

We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse who is certified in Infection Prevention and Control to join our team, working three days per week (your choice of weekdays, 8 hour shifts), and then will work every other weekend as our Nursing Supervisor (7am-7pm Sat/Sun every other weekend). Primary job function is to ensure compliance with infection control protocols, and that we are doing all we can to prevent infections in the facility.  This nurse will track and report required data, and will also develop, review, and update protocols and procedures for infection control and prevention. As the Nursing Supervisor, you will provide direct nursing care to the residents, and will supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurses and nursing assistants.

Candidates must have an active MA RN license in good standing; must be certified in Infection Prevention and Control and have pertinent prior experience.  Experience working in a skilled nursing facility and in a supervisory role is preferred.

Housekeeper/Floor Technician – $500 Sign On Bonus

We are looking for two people to join our Environmental Services Department!

We are seeking a full time Floor Technician. This individual is generally responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas such as dining rooms. Hours are Monday – Friday, 7am-3pm.

We are also looking for a part-time Housekeeper. Primary duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, vacuuming and mopping floors, and trash removal. Hours are Monday thru Friday 3pm-7pm (20 hours per week).

Prior experience in health care facility is preferred. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid.
