Personal Meal Choices and Therapeutic Diets

The Dining Services Department is an integral part of the Elizabeth Seton Residence team. Our registered dietitian will work closely with you and the nursing staff to ensure your dietary requirements are met. We believe in fresh ingredients and “cooking from scratch,” thus eliminating chemicals and preservatives often found in prepared foods.

Our chef strives to create an innovative offering of comfort foods, delicious seasonal dishes, and good “home cooking.” When diet restrictions require soft textures, dining remains dignified through the use of creative food presentation.

At the Elizabeth Seton Residence, mealtimes are a time to nourish the spirit as well as the body. In keeping with our homelike culture, meals are served in each “neighborhood” where residents are invited to gather around the dining table and enjoy each other’s company. You may also choose to eat in your room if you prefer. We look forward to serving you.
